UP TO ME

On an interdisciplinary team with the USF Mental Health and Policy faculty and peers, I act as a project coordinator to a NIDILRR-funded grant that aims to determine the efficacy of an intervention which intends to help students make decisions about disclosing their mental health challenge(s). Further, I investigate sensing technologies to quantitatively measure the efficacy of the intervention by providing automated methods to measure and understand behavior.

COPE NOTES

In conjunction with USF Mental Health and Policy faculty, I conduct qualitative interviews aimed toward perceptions of ubiquitous computing for SMS mental health interventions and gain insight of user perceived usefulness of Cope Notes. I also engage in qualitative analysis of interview responses to derive themes present in user responses.

MACHINE LEARNING CLUB

In a partnership with Dr. Kiran C. Patel High School, I work with University of South Florida Computer Science and Engineering faculty and Patel High staff to create engaging content for 9-12 students on machine learning topics and principles. In my role as a mentor, I assist students with grasping concepts and application of machine learning techniques.
